I Believe

June 10, 2015

I am playing hide-and-seek with the sun in the morning, and chasing the stars at night. The sand is tickling my feet, and the waves are warming my body. I am excited about the wind lightly touching my skin while I sip from a glass with a dangling umbrella and a floating Spanish olive.

The sky is power blue and I am flying like a paper air plane. I can’t swim very well, but it doesn’t matter because the ocean is at peace and I have a peace of mind.

I can’t decide if I want to read or sing – choices are good so I choose to do both simultaneously. Sea shells are echoing in my right ear and laughter is ringing in my left. The life that is familiar exists, but not at this moment.

I see things that I never seen before, I taste flavors that are exotic, I smell unusual, and pleasant aromas and I am mesmerized by the feel of the organic earth. My location is irrelevant, but my emotions are valid.

God promised me rest and he has delivered. The patio sheers in my room are sashaying from side-to-side, the water is rushing against the rocks, and slumber never felt better.

I release all that concerns me and I am filled with courage and possibilities. My dreams are realities and my expectations are concise.

I have created a vision and I have made it plain . . . God will do the rest!
