This Too Shall Pass

March 11, 2015

The storm is powerful. It can bring sorrow and tears and destroy what was once built from love.

The storm is strong. It can move a house with a single breath and create destruction in minutes.

The storm is durable. It can endure its own wrath and live to fight another day.

The storm is resilient. It cannot be stopped because it is tired – it will continue until the universe tells it to rest.

The storm is sturdy. It cannot be moved by the request of any person – its orders come from the Creator.

The storm is tough. It will not run and hide at the first sign of weakness – it maintains as long as it can before it retreats.

The storm is effective. It may not produce what you want, but it teaches preparation.

The storm is overwhelming. It can be extreme, as it is confident in its abilities.

The storm is intense. Its goal is to make a bold statement that is penetrating.

The storm is persuasive. It forces you to take shelter and it tells you when the course is clear.

The storm is convincing. It can lead you in a different direction even when you did not choose that path.

The storm is impressive. It shows off what it is capable of and it dares you to try to compete.

The storm is haunting. It can scare you into the corner of a cold damp place where you are afraid to come out.

The storm is educating. It teaches you how to survive and to recognize the signs leading up to its coming.

The storm is determined. It will not allow you to push it around easily – it is ready to defend itself.

The storm is deep. It can be dark and heavy, but it will also produce the light of the full sun.

The storm is able. It is energetic and deliberate about achieving its goals.

The storm is good. It exposes our fears and leads us to seek a higher power.

The storm is temporary. It was never meant to last forever, but rather to create a lasting impact.

The storm is necessary. Without it, you would never find the rainbow.
